Narva

Narva City Government is a Municipality. Narva, besides being the third largest city in Estonia, is also a strategic place on the border between the EU, Estonia and Russia. The Department for Development and Economy is responsible for development of Narva including development of strategies and programmes for City development, entrepreneurship development including tourism, international cooperation and project development and realization. The top priorities are: to work constantly on improving the image of the city, to support business, entrepreneurship and investors in the creation of new jobs. Talking of long-term strategic goals, it is vital to increase focus on city planning. The monitoring of the balanced development of the city districts should be a continuous process, with the objective of making the city more attractive.
