Kistelek

Kistelek Microregion can be found in Csongrád County, Southern Great Plain (Alföld) region, and at a distance of 20 kms from Szeged. It can be reached from E75 international road, recently built M5 highway and railroad. The central location of Kistelek makes it for the centre of the microregional association. There are no distances in our microregion; a number of natural and cultural Alföld beauties can be experienced. The lovers of natural beauties can range at tussocky marsh fields, szik “puszta”-s (typical Hungarian field), unique lakesides with wide bird world. The generation to generation inheritable ancient methods of folk crafts are saved here, in our region.
